EAB Racing Team rider Glenn van Straalen has ended the World Supersport race at MotorLand Aragon in 16th place. Glenn arrived confident at Aragon as he raced before at the track in Spain. But despite his track knowledge it turned out to be a tough Friday for him. Luckily he was able to improve a lot on Saturday in the Superpole and ended this important qualification session in 19th place. One day later Glenn started very well in the third World Supersport race of 2019 aboard the EAB Racing Team Kawasaki ZX-6R, but after a hectic opening lap he found himself back in 21st place, four seconds from a point finish. During the rest of the race Glenn fought like a lion but ended the race just outside the points.

The next World Supersport race is next week at the TT Circuit of Assen in the Netherlands, the home race for both Glenn and EAB Racing Team.

Glenn: “My start was good but I made an error will I was overtaking another rider. A real shame as it happened before. I even lost more time when I got stuck behind two slower riders. The rest of the race was lonely and I ended in 16th place so just missed a point. But I’m very confident for next race at Assen!”
